Job summary

The role requires ARRT registration, KY Radiation Operator certification, BLS, and IR Registry within 2 years. Exposure to radiation safety and collaboration with the IR team is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered with ARRT required.
• KY Radiation Operator’s certification required
• BLS required
• IR Registry required within 2 years of employment

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the IR team, uses consistent and appropriate techniques to gather information for examinations.
• Prepares for procedures using sterile technique.
• Sets and implements technical parameters for imaging equipment.
• Produces images according to established protocols.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Attends department staff meetings and assists in training new personnel.
• Promotes a collaborative practice atmosphere within the healthcare team.
