Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, CA seeks an Interventional Special Procedures Technologist to support interventional radiology procedures, including vascular and neuro interventions. You will scrub, assist physicians, and perform radiographic duties across OR, cath lab, and hybrid settings.

Responsibilities include documenting exams, managing contrast use, and ensuring patient safety. Requires ARRT, CA Fluoroscopy, CRT, BLS, and venipuncture certs with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA approved radiologic program and state/federal certs.
• 1 year radiologic technologist experience in interventional areas.
• ARRT, CA Fluoroscopy Permit, CRT, BLS, Venipuncture certifications required.
• Willingness to scrub and assist in interventional suites.

Responsibilities

• Documentation management and accurate entry in imaging systems.
• Pre- and post-procedure patient education and support.
• Produce high-quality exams and apply imaging protocols.
• Assist with special vascular/interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to universal precautions.
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing competency training.
