Sharp HealthCare seeks an experienced Interventional Special Procedures Technologist to support radiology, vascular and neuro interventions. The role involves scrubbing, assisting physicians, and imaging in IR, cath lab, hybrid and OR settings.

You will ensure quality control, document exams in RIS, and educate patients while maintaining sterile technique and radiation safety. On-call and weekend coverage are required.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of AMA approved radiologic technology program with state/federal certs.
• Minimum 1 year experience in interventional radiology or related vascular/cardiovascular fluoroscopy.
• ARRT Certification and fluoroscopy permit required.
• CRT - CA Department of Public Health required.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals required.
• Venipuncture certification required.

Aufgaben

• Documentation management in RIS and verification of patient information.
• Begin and end exams with accurate data entry and coding.
• Assist physicians as a scrub tech and in the operating environment.
• Maintain inventory records of supplies used during procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure education to patients and families.
• Uphold ALARA radiation safety principles during all procedures.
