Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA is seeking an Interventional Special Procedures Technologist for day shift. You will support interventional radiology, vascular and neuro procedures across cath lab, hybrid, OR, and outpatient rooms. ARRT-certified technologists with fluoroscopy permit and BLS are required.

You will manage documentation, perform exams, and participate in on-call rotations with weekend requirements. A strong emphasis on sterile technique and patient safety is essential.

Formación

• Formal training in an AMA approved school with required state/federal certification.
• 1 year of radiology experience in interventional or fluoroscopy areas.
• ARRT certificate and CA fluoroscopy permit required.
• CRT certification and BLS Healthcare required.

Responsabilidades

• Documentation management: verify orders, enter data, and code exams correctly.
• Patient and family education before and after procedures.
• Produce high quality exams using proper imaging techniques and labeling.
• Special procedures: assist with CTA/MRA and complex vascular cases in hybrid/OR settings.
• Quality assurance: verify patient identity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Clinical competency: complete required interventional procedure training.
