Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a Full Time Cardiovascular Technologist to assist in procedures and monitor physiologic data. You will ensure the procedure room is prepared and supplies are adequately stocked.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT-R and State licensing, with a preferred background in Interventional Radiology. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist preferred).

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• ARRT-R and licensed as required by State;
• VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist preferred
• Licensure and Fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
