Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ARRT certification/state licensure preferred.
• Experience with interventional procedures and materials is essential.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions required.
• Proficient computer skills (Word/Excel) and CPT/ICD-9 coding familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Set up and stock procedure room with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions/concerns.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and equipment handling.
• Operate C-Arm and administer fluoroscopy as needed while maintaining sterile technique.
• Maintain medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
