Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology professional to support physicians during procedures, manage procedure rooms, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. You will assist with patient prep, instrument handling, and post-procedure imaging while maintaining strict sterile technique and accurate medical records.

The role requires ARRT certification or state licensure, 4–6 years of related experience, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree desirable; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure per state regulations.
• Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
• 4–6 years’ related experience desirable.
• 1 year experience preferred for ARRT candidates.
• Working knowledge of interventional equipment (C-Arm and Ultrasound).
• Experience with maintaining required materials/supplies for procedure.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Reviews procedure orders to determine needed materials/supplies.
• Sets up stocks trays and cleans procedure room before and after procedures.
• Explains procedures to patients and addresses questions.
• Assists with patient positioning and preparing for surgical procedures.
• Transfers patients to and from the procedure room.
• Acts as scrub assistant during interventional procedures and maintains sterile technique.
• Complies with HIPAA and labeling policies.
• Processes and archives x-ray images per records policies.
• Maintains records accuracy and completes audits.
