Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s and Bachelor's degrees strongly preferred.
• ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure in Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Experience with interventional equipment including C-Arm and Ultrasound.
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and universal precautions.
• BLS certification completed.
• Experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and room for radiology procedures per policy and safety regs.
• Assembles and stocks procedure trays with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Assists physician during interventional procedures and operates fluoroscopy equipment.
• Maintains sterile technique and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
• Inputs patient data and ensures accuracy of medical records and billing.
• Performs inventory management and equipment maintenance.
• Trains new staff and participates in CQI meetings when needed.
