Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology professional to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures across age groups. You will position patients, select appropriate protocols, and operate imaging equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires ARDMS or ARRT registration upon hire, BLS, and a graduate of an AMA‑accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT VI or CI credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration upon hire required; BLS upon hire.
• Advanced ARRT VI/CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures on patients of all ages (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, GI studies).
• Position patient, select protocol, and use imaging equipment.
• Follow established imaging protocols and ensure quality of care.
• Provide patient education and communication per standards.
• Adhere to radiation safety policies and dose reduction principles.
