Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, post-processing, and patient care across age groups. Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R). BLS Certified.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: ARRT VI or CI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes post-processing functions and related record keeping for patients.
• Adheres to established imaging protocols and tailors care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Provides patient education and communications per prescribed standards.
• Maintains competence across interventional radiology procedures and imaging equipment.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety policies and dose reduction principles.
• Position patients and select correct protocols and equipment for radiological exams across age groups.
