Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in interventional radiology to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across age groups. You will ensure protocol adherence, perform post-processing, and maintain strict safety standards.

The role requires ARRT/ARDMS registration, BLS, and a preference for advanced ARRT VI/CI certification. Collaboration with diverse teams and ongoing professional growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required upon hire.
• BLS - Basic Life Support upon hire.
• Advanced Certification by ARRT in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies) with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes post-processing functions, records, and patient care functions following established protocols and age-specific considerations.
• Adheres to Radiation Safety Policies and dose reduction practices and provides patient education as needed.
