Job summary

MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking an Interventional Technologist II to perform vascular and neurointerventional procedures and CT imaging with a patient-centered approach. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to ARRT standards.

Candidates will contribute to quality initiatives, training, and efficient workflow, while supporting patient education and comfort throughout imaging procedures and care coordination.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required at hire; advanced CV/CI/VI radiography preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS at designated sites.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with interventional radiology and CT imaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized vascular, non-vascular and/or neuro interventional procedures under supervision.
• Operate CT scanners for IR procedures and diagnostic CT when applicable.
• Maintain patient care, education, and comfort, with effective consent and history taking.
• Engage in quality improvement, training, and timely imaging distribution to PACS.
• Ensure equipment care, safety, and adherence to ARRT ethics and hospital policies.
