Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Radiologic Technology certificate required.
• Minimum of two years of interventional radiology experience required.
• ARRT registration required upon hire; CV/CI/VI certifications required for hires after July 1, 2017.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and CT Certification preferred.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in MD or VA required upon hire.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification at designated sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular/non-vascular and/or neuro interventional procedures under supervision.
• Operate CT scanners for IR procedures and perform diagnostic CT when applicable.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control; report issues promptly.
• Document patient care activities in EHR and distribute final images to PACS.
• Communicate with patients to obtain histories and explain procedures.
