Qualifications

Position Overview

Hourly Wage Estimate: $37.26 - $55.91 / hour. $20,000 sign‑on bonus available for candidates not currently employed by HCA HealthONE.

Shift: Four 9‑hour shifts per week with rotating day off, 2 call days per week and one weekend per month.

Job Summary

Interventional Radiology Technologist II

Interventional Radiology is a sub‑specialty of radiology in which minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. These doctors specialize in using nonsurgical techniques for targeted treatments. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you can expect to do the following:

Responsibilities

• Possess solid expert knowledge of all special/interventional procedures and provide appropriate and positive patient care and exemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
• Maintain strong communication and organization within Interventional Radiology, interdepartmentally, and with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Apply critical thinking skills in day‑to‑day job prioritization, and assume accountability for personal and team contributions.
• Be willing to enter call rotation, including weekends and holidays, and cross‑train to one or more modalities as required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA‑approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• Current ARRT RT(R)(VI) or (CV) and current BLS required.
• Interventional/Special Procedure experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT‑VI Vascular Interventional Radiography certification.
• 1 year of experience required.
