Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the procedure room and assist physicians during interventional procedures with optimal imaging and patient safety.
• Select equipment, set technical factors, follow protocols, and manage supplies prior to procedures; observe radiation safety standards.
• Obtain complete patient history from records and document data to assist image interpretation and future visits.
• Perform quality assessment of images and report equipment issues to the supervisor or director; ensure equipment is functional at start of day.
• Participate in department, campus, and system quality improvement initiatives and comply with accreditation standards.
