Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to position and image patients for complex procedures, assist radiologists, and maintain sterile technique. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging with strict safety and patient care standards.

The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to support interventional vascular and neurovascular procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology training is required.
• ARRT registration is required.
• Candidates should demonstrate teamwork and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients to ensure correct anatomy and projection.
• Obtain radiographic DSA/DA images and transmit to PACS for radiologist review.
• Assist in complex interventional endovascular and neurovascular procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Prepare and monitor patients, maintain sterile technique and equipment, and ensure room readiness.
