Job summary

VIS (Vascular & Interventional Specialists) in Omaha, NE is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support procedural imaging, sterile technique, patient preparation, and workflow in the lab.

You will circulate and scrub during procedures, operate imaging equipment, prepare rooms, manage supplies, and help maintain safety and HIPAA compliance. ARRT registration and state licensure are required, with interventional experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required or eligible with registration obtained within the required timeframe.
• State licensure required as applicable to the role and scope of practice.
• Experience in interventional, procedural imaging, or ambulatory surgery centers preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, imaging equipment, and room workflow.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Clear, professional communication with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during procedures in accordance with clinical protocols and sterile technique standards.
• Prepare, clean, and reset procedural rooms to support timely and safe patient care.
• Manage procedural supplies and equipment, including inventory using software and communicating needs.
• Operate imaging equipment during procedures, supporting image quality and workflow.
• Perform sterilization functions per infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with patient positioning and procedural preparation as directed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance, safety policies, and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support coordinated patient care.
