Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN is hiring an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join the Interventional Imaging team at Southdale Hospital. This 0.8 FTE role works day shift with a weekday and weekend overnight call rotation, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care.

The position supports invasive procedures in interventional angio suites, collaborates with radiologists, and participates in data collection and sterile technique.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered is required.
• 1 year experience as an Interventional technologist preferred.
• ARRT IR certification or completion within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient care and safety culture.
• Operate imaging equipment per standards and address issues.
• Apply aseptic technique during prep, draping and setup.
• Ensure data integrity and communicate findings to staff.
• Assist radiologist with catheter/wire manipulation while maintaining sterility.
• Adjust care to patient age and cultural needs.
