Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Edina, MN seeks a Radiologic Technologist for the Southdale Hospital imaging department. This is a 0.7 FTE position with 8-hour shifts, mainly midday/evening, and weekend rotation every 6th week.

You will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, ensure patient safety, collaborate with the imaging team, and participate in department workflow and education.

Sign-on bonus prorated by experience; eligible for benefits as described in the Fairview benefits overview.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology Tech credential required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA/Red Cross) required.
• Preferred: 1 year experience as a technologist.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient care and safety throughout procedures.
• Performs radiologic examinations and ensures image quality.
• Identifies relevant data from images and communicates findings to care team.
• Coordinates with healthcare professionals to ensure timely imaging and patient care.
• Participates in department quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Educates patients about procedures and obtains consent as needed.
