Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.
• BLS Tier 1 required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures in accordance with physician orders and department guidelines.
• Identifies patient with two identifiers.
• Documents all aspects of the procedure accurately.
• Monitors and scrubs while assisting radiologists.
• Maintains safe patient environment in the procedure area.
• Assists in interpretation of images by gathering relevant information.
• Verifies imaging transfers to storage/retrieval system.
• Uses Excellian EMR and PACS systems.
