Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform specialized procedures using sterile techniques and advanced imaging equipment. You will schedule procedures, prepare patients, position them, and adjust equipment for optimal results.

Qualifications

• Associate's Transcript showing Radiology Technology from a two-year college or technical school, or hospital-based radiologic technology program
• Cardiac Interventional Radiography (RI) - ARRT within 60 days or Radiography (R) - ARRT within 60 days or RCIS - CCI within 60 days

Responsibilities

• Schedules procedures and patient preparations, positions and instructs patients and adjusts equipment for procedures.
• Produces satisfactory images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains and evaluates products used for procedures and assists with records and safety compliance.
• Monitors hemodynamics during procedures and supports patient care for critically ill patients.
