Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join Bell Hospital. This full-time, on-site role supports diagnostic, interventional and ultrasound-guided imaging procedures in a sterile environment.

You will maintain sterile technique, document contrast use and charges, ensure radiation safety and equipment readiness, and participate in on-call coverage and Radiology resident preceptorship.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 1+ years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Electrophysiology Lab preferred.
• Licensure and certification: ARRT, KSBHA, BLS Heartsaver.

Responsibilities

• Assist during physician-supervised procedures with sterile technique.
• Document use of contrast material and related patient charges.
• Perform radiologic imaging across vascular, spinal, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremities.
• Maintain professional, clinical, and technical competency.
• Follow confidentiality, HIPAA, and safety policies.
• Report actions detrimental to coworkers, patients, or organization.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and proper room turnover.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed.
• Support preceptorship and training of Radiology residents.
