Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Olathe, KS is seeking a part-time Interventional Radiologic Technologist. The role supports diagnostic, interventional, and ultrasound-guided imaging in a sterile, surgical-style environment and requires professional licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include sterile preparation, documentation of contrast usage and charges, radiation protection, on-call coverage, and collaboration with Radiology residents and staff to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• 1+ years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Electrophysiology Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic radiologic and ultrasonic guided imaging procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and prepare patient access areas and procedure trays.
• Document use of contrast material and patient charges.
• Ensure radiation protection and proper use of monitoring devices.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed.
• Support Radiology residents and staff during procedures.
