Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Olathe is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist I to assist in diagnostic, interventional, and ultrasound-guided imaging procedures. You will work in a sterile, surgical-like environment and support physicians during complex vascular and general studies.

Candidates must have an appropriate education and ARRT radiography license, BLS Heartsaver, and be prepared for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Associates degree or higher in radiologic/vascular/cardiovascular field.
• 1+ years in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or EP Lab.
• BLS Heartsaver, ARRT Radiography, and LRT licensure within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile preparation and proper access areas for procedures.
• Document use of contrast material and patient charges accurately.
• Perform imaging across vascular, spinal, chest, abdomen, pelvis and extremities.
• Follow infection control policies and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in on-call coverage and precept Radiology residents.
