Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist (days, full-time). You will assist with diagnostic, interventional and ultrasound-guided imaging in sterile environments, ensuring proper documentation, contrast use, and patient safety.

Strong emphasis on infection control and radiation protection. Requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (or related field), 1+ year in Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology, and

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• 1+ year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology.
• Current ARRT Radiography license and Kansas licensure.
• Strong sterile technique and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assist during physician supervised procedures with sterile preparation of access areas and supplies.
• Document use of contrast material and related patient charges accurately.
• Maintain competency in radiologic imaging across vascular, spinal, chest, abdomen and extremity sites.
• Follow policies for infection control and radiation safety; maintain records and equipment.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed; support Radiology residents during training.
