Job summary

University of Kentucky Healthcare in Lexington, KY is expanding its Interventional Radiology team and hiring an Interventional Technologist. The IR Tech provides clinical assistance during procedures, supports CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopy guidance, and may serve as scrub tech or circulator.

Responsibilities include supply charge, documentation and charging, and ensuring efficiency and patient privacy. Qualified candidates hold AS, ARRT RT with Kentucky State Radiation Operator License and BLS,

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and KY Radiation Operator's License required by hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assist during interventional radiology procedures and aid physicians.
• Provide CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy guidance under supervision.
• Scrub tech or circulator duties as needed; manage supply charge and charging procedures.
