Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging and support patient care. You will perform procedures, maintain safety, and ensure accurate patient and image identification.

Call is required with a focus on age-specific care from neonates to geriatrics. Starting pay reflects a sign-on bonus up to $30,000 and is based on experience; ARRT eligibility and Kentucky license are required at hire, with BLS due within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Extensive customer service experience is required.
• Ability to communicate calmly and clearly in stressful situations.
• CPR certification and familiarity with PACS/RIS workflows considered a plus.
• ARRT certification eligibility or certification by date of hire is required or anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging to assist physicians in patient care.
• Perform or assist in procedures per department protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Identify images and patients correctly and ensure proper image labeling.
• May perform ordering of exams aligned with procedures and participate in QA reviews.
