Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology professional to support cardiac, neuro, and vascular procedures. You will ensure patient safety, prepare medications, and manage radiation exposure in compliance with laws and policies.

Responsibilities include documenting clinical histories, maintaining sterile technique, training staff, and applying ALARA imaging protocols to optimize image quality.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (ARRT-R) required; advanced certifications (ARRT-VI, CI, CV) preferred.
• For cardiology, graduation from an accredited program or ARRT with RCIS certification, plus ACLS (PALS if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history, and ensure confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed and evaluate image quality.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist or perform diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain intra-arterial access, operate monitoring and imaging equipment, and perform manual hemostasis.
• Record hemodynamic data, participate in physiological monitoring, and initiate ACLS protocols as needed.
• Practice sterile techniques, ensure quality control, and participate in process improvements.
