Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute team. You will perform radiologic studies, administer contrast, and support invasive cardiology and radiology workflows in a high-acuity setting.

You will operate in cath labs and hybrid suites, ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and effective communication with clinical staff. ARRT, state licensure, and ACLS within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

The Registered Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in patient care within the Heart & Vascular Institute, assisting with invasive cardiology and radiology procedures.

Key responsibilities include administering contrast material, recognizing allergic reactions, assisting with sterile procedures, managing supplies, verifying patient information, and documenting accurately. They support patient comfort and safety, explain procedures, and perform essential radiologic functions.

Specialized tasks involve working in cardiac catheterization labs, performing left and right heart catheterizations, structural heart procedures like TAVR and Watchman, and hybrid peripheral vascular interventions such as EVAR and TEVAR, often utilizing advanced tools like ICUS, FFR/iFR, and Impella.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or radiologic technology certificate, ARRT registration, state licensure, and ACLS certification within one year. Skills required are effective communication, manual dexterity, compassion, and ability to learn patient care procedures.

Flexibility for on-call duties and variable shifts is essential to meet department needs.
