Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an experienced radiologic/interventional technologist to support cardiac, neuro, body and vascular procedures. You will prepare, administer meds, and document radiation exposure while ensuring safety and quality.

The role includes education, QA participation, and data documentation in a clinical setting. ARRT-R and advanced ARRT certifications (VI, CI, CV) with RCIS are required; ACLS is required, PALS preferred on some campuses.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT-R and advanced certification in ARRT-VI, CI, or CV.
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic or cardiovascular technology program or hold ARRT certification with RCIS or RCIS certification.
• ACLS certification required; PALS preferred on certain campuses.
• Proficiency in radiologic and interventional procedures, with strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, obtain correct orders, and prepare for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles.
• Administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate and verify images, ensure proper data storage and transfer.
• Assist or perform diagnostic, fluoroscopic, or interventional procedures.
• Maintain intra-arterial access, monitor hemodynamics, and perform manual hemostasis.
• Operate and perform quality control on monitoring and imaging devices.
• Follow sterile techniques and record procedural data accurately.
• Participate in departmental quality and process improvement initiatives.
