Job summary

Health Here in Jackson, MS, seeks a skilled Radiology Technology professional to perform complex interventional radiology, cardiac cath, or electrophysiology procedures. You will support diagnosis and treatment by executing high-quality radiologic exams in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include setting up sterile fields, preparing catheters and contrast materials, assisting physicians with devices, and ensuring patient safety and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiology technology program.
• Minimum 1 year in radiology, with 6 months in IR/Cath/EP labs preferred.
• ARRT registration in Radiography, with BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.
• State licensure as required, with preferred registry in Vascular Interventional (ARRT VI).

• Set up sterile fields, assemble instruments, catheters, guidewires, and contrast materials as per procedures.
• Assist physicians with catheters, balloons, coils, and other treatment devices.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with hospital guidelines.
• Complete documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.
• Perform on-call coverage as assigned.

• Perform additional duties as assigned and provide on-call coverage.
