Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. seeks a Radiologic Technologist to assist radiologists in Special Procedure exams and perform required QC procedures. The role includes verifying orders with the radiologist and ensuring patient history and contraindication data are complete.

The candidate will interact with hospital staff, support patient care, and adapt to on-call, weekend, evenings, and holiday shifts as needed. Texas MRT license and ARRT (R) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years of Special Procedure/ Radiographer experience required.
• ARRT Interventional Angiography certification preferred.
• Membership in related professional organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist in Special Procedure exams.
• Perform quality control procedures as required by the manufacturer.
• Verify orders with radiologist and ensure proper lab results and history is available before exam.
• Interact with hospital staff and nursing departments regarding patient care and concerns.
