Qualifications

• Two years’ Radiology Technologist experience in an acute care setting.
• 1-2 years’ Interventional Technologist experience preferred.
• Graduate of a radiology program meeting JRCERT/AMA standards or military training.
• Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board.
• Required ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (VI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist/physician in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operate Interventional Suite equipment: Fluoro, Pan Table, injector, monitors.
• Maintain sterile technique and sterile field during scrub.
• Prepare patient and room, manage wires and components.
• Serve as circulator: supply handling and patient/physician communication.
• Explain procedures and provide patient care throughout.
• Manage puncture/access site and hold pressure when needed.
• Maintain par level of supplies and process special orders.
• Ensure Conscious Sedation policy compliance.
