Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist to support radiology services in Leesburg, FL. You will respond to patient needs, assist radiologists, and contribute to high-quality care while minimizing radiation exposure.

The role requires cross-training in Special Procedures, English fluency, and active licensure (FL Radiologic Technologist), ARRT and BLS certifications. The incumbent will work under supervision to maintain standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Post high school special training completed.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient needs and support colleagues to deliver quality care.
• Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and team.
• Work independently in the specified radiology modality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and supervisors to ensure safe, effective procedures.
