Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures in a hospital setting in Ohio. The role emphasizes sterile technique, patient preparation, and documentation in the EMR.

Required ARRT or CCI certification, with BLS and ACLS preferred. State licensure is a plus. The position involves exposure to radiation and infection control standards in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• ARRT(R) certification or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.
• BLS Basic Life Support – preferred at hire, must obtain prior to patient care.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support – preferred.
• Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography RT(R)(CV) – ARRT preferred.
• Vascular-Interventional Radiology RT(R)(VI) – ARRT preferred.
• State licensure – preferred unless required by state of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Licensed Practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Prepares patients and explains procedures to obtain cooperation and minimize anxiety.
• Documentation of medications and radiation exposure in accordance with laws and policies.
• Review patient information in the EMR, enter preliminary reporting and document critical findings.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies.
• Demonstrates non-invasive vascular exam skills and knowledge of anatomy and interpretation criteria.

Educación

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
