Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique and documenting medications and radiation exposure in accordance with laws and policy.

You will prepare patients, explain procedures, coordinate with physicians, and review the EMR to ensure accurate reporting and safe care. ARRT/CCI certification and 1 year radiology experience preferred; EPIC/PACS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification with ARRT or CCI is required or preferred.
• Associate's degree from ARRT accredited institute preferred.
• 1 year radiology experience with surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner during fluoroscopic and interventional procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and obtain cooperation to minimize anxiety.
• Review patient information in the EMR, document preliminary findings and report critical results.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies.
