Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will participate in post-processing, coordinate procedures, and educate patients as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires AMA/JRCERT accreditation, ARRT/ARDMS registration, and BLS certification, with 1 year of experience in radiology and interventional settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of experience required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required upon hire.
• Vascular Imaging Advance Certification (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Cardiac-Interventional Radiographer (CI) preferred and required upon hire where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and related post-processing.
• Positions patients, selects protocols, and ensures equipment use according to established imaging standards.
• Adheres to radiation safety policies and dose reduction programs.
• Maintains patient education and communication per standards.
• Mentors students and junior technologists and supports regulatory compliance.
