Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures with post-processing and patient care across age groups.

Responsibilities include protocol adherence, education of patients, and coordination of procedures. The candidate should have ARDMS/ARRT, VI/CI or equivalent certifications and BLS, with at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Licenses: ARDMS/ARRT, VI or CI certifications, BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in interventional radiology procedures across all age groups.
• Positions patient and selects the correct protocol.
• Adheres to imaging protocols for each exam.
• Provides patient education and communication per standards.
• Assists with coordination of interventional procedures in proper sequence.
• Mentors students and junior technologists.
• Ensures regulatory compliance for the department.
• Post-processes imaging using applications such as Syngo Via.
• Allocates equipment and resources per protocol.
