Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across patient age groups. You will position patients, select protocols, and ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety standards.

The role requires AMA/JRCERT-accredited training and at least 1 year of experience, with ARDMS/ARRT certifications activated upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of radiology experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration upon hire; VI or CI certifications upon hire may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures on patients of all ages.
• Position patients, select correct protocol, and utilize imaging equipment.
• Adhere to established imaging protocols and radiation safety practices.
• Provide patient education and maintain accurate records.
• Mentor students and junior technologists; ensure regulatory compliance.
