Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our radiology team in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures and ensure adherence to imaging protocols and radiation safety throughout patient care.

The role requires 1 year of experience, AMA/JRCERT training, ARDMS/ARRT registration and VI/CI vascular imaging certifications, plus BLS.

Qualifications

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training.
1 year of experience required.
ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration with VI or CI vascular imaging certification upon hire, and BLS required.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and related biopsies.
Adheres to established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards across adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Provides patient education and care during procedures and post-processing; coordinates interventional procedures in proper sequence.
Mentors students and junior technologists; ensures department meets regulatory requirements.
Demonstrates ability to post-process advance imaging using applications such as Syngo Via.
