Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our diagnostic team. You will perform interventional radiology procedures, adhere to imaging protocols, and provide patient education across age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of experience in interventional radiology settings preferred.
• Certification requirements listed under Licenses and Certifications must be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in interventional radiology procedures on patients of all ages.
• Adheres to imaging protocols and ensures radiation safety.
• Provides patient education and communication per standards.
• Mentors students and junior technologists; coordinates interventional procedures.
• Ensures regulatory compliance within the department.
• Operates post-processing applications (e.g., Syngo Via) for advanced imaging.
