Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare’s radiology team in Brookhaven, GA seeks an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join Piedmont Atlanta Hospital's imaging services. You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures across age groups, supporting high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes adherence to imaging protocols, radiation safety, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A valid ARRT registration and BLS are required, with ARRT VI or CI preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R).
• BLS Certified
• Advance ARRT in VI or CI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional radiology procedures on patients of all ages.
• Maintains competencies for related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols for each exam.
• Delivers age-specific patient care per standards.
• Adheres to radiation safety policies and dose-reduction principles.
• Provides patient education and communication per standards.
• Positions patients and selects protocols across ages for radiologic exams.
