Job summary

The Registered Radiologic Technologist at Carle Health works within the Heart & Vascular Institute to support invasive cardiology and radiology studies. This role requires precise image capture, patient care and seamless teamwork to assist physicians in complex procedures.

Education includes an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Radiography certification, and licensure. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates, with ACLS within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in Radiography required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the relevant state required.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as ordered by physician, monitors for reactions.
• Performs radiologic procedures under supervision of a dosimetrist or physicist.
• Maintains sterile field and adheres to safety protocols during procedures.
• Assists with inventory and supplies management.
• Documents procedures accurately and communicates with the care team.
