Qualifications

• Requires ARRT registration (Radiography)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (IEMA)
• ACLS certification within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material per physician’s request and monitors for reactions.
• Works under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Verifies patient identity, diagnosis, and treatment position.
• Documents clinical information per policy.
• Instructs new staff as needed.
• Explains procedures and ensures patient comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Performs essential Radiologic Technologist duties and on-call or variable shifts.
• Maintains sterile field during procedures.
• Assess allergies and manage contrast administration.
