Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute. You will support physicians during invasive cardiology and radiology studies, ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy.

This role offers a sign-on bonus and requires ARRT registration, Illinois radiography licensure or equivalent, and ACLS within 1 year. You’ll work under supervision, manage supplies, and contribute to high-quality patient care across procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or related field in Radiologic Technology (or completion of accredited program)
• Registered in Radiography (R) – ARRT
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA)
• ACLS within 1 year – AHA
• Ability to learn and follow procedures with accuracy and compassion

Responsibilities

• Administers contrast material as directed by physician.
• Under supervision, performs essential radiologic functions.
• Assists with inventory and supplies.
• Verifies patient identity and chart accuracy.
• Documents procedures per policy and provides patient comfort and safety.
