Job summary

Singing River Health System Gulfport is seeking an Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Technologist to support Cardiac Cath lab procedures and patient care. You will operate fluoroscopy/recording equipment under supervision and ensure asepsis to prevent any injury during procedures.

The role requires ARRT licensure, RCIS credential, BCLS and ACLS within 6 months, plus at least 6 months in Special Procedures and Cardiac Cath.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• RCIS credential by CCI required or to be obtained.
• ARRT-licensed Radiologic Technologist; Mississippi license required.
• BCLS certification; ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Special Procedures & Cardiac Cath.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all Cardiac Cath lab procedures and patient comfort.
• Prepare and operate fluoroscopy and recording equipment for diagnostics and treatment.
• Maintain asepsis to prevent patient injury during procedures.
• Follow supervision of Lab Team Leader and physicians; on-call rotation incl. weekends.
• Adhere to safety standards and accurate documentation.
