Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Heart & Vascular Institute. You will assist physicians in invasive cardiac and radiology procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain strict documentation and sterile technique.

Qualified candidates hold an ARRT in Radiography, an allied radiologic credential, and ACLS within 1 year. This role offers a sign-on bonus and requires flexible shifts to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or related field required.
• Completion of Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registration required.

Responsibilities

• Administer contrast material per physician request and monitor for reactions.
• Work under supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist.
• Assist with inventory and supplies.
• Verify patient identity, chart, and treatment position.
• Document accurately per policies and procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Perform essential Radiologic Technologist functions.
• Cover on-call duties and variable shifts as needed.
• Contribute to training and orientation of new staff.
