Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health seeks a Radiology Technologist for interventional radiology and related labs in Jackson, MS. The role supports complex imaging procedures and on-call duties, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.

You will perform tasks across IR, Cath Lab, and EP labs, with emphasis on procedure setup, imaging quality, and teamwork with physicians. ARRT licensure and BLS are required; 1 yearIR/Cath/EP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Understanding of radiologic principles/theory.
• Ability to select appropriate technique and positioning for optimal results.
• Ability to receive and follow written and oral instructions; plan and organize work.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to complex radiologic procedures in Interventional Radiology, Neuro Interventional Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Electrophysiology lab.
• Sets up sterile table, assembles instruments, catheters, guidewires, and contrast materials per procedure.
• Assists Radiologist/Neurologist/Cardiologist with catheters, guidewires, balloons, coils, and treatments.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans per hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to comply with policies and procedures.
• Maintenance of equipment and rooms to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to uphold standards.
• Completes assigned goals; performs other duties as assigned.
