Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Lab technologist to support procedures under the guidance of a Cardiologist/Radiologist. You will scrub, monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities include preparing the procedure room, tracking instruments and supplies, and participating in staff meetings and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state licensure where required.
• Experience in an Interventional Radiology department is preferred.
• BCLS certification required at or before hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.
• Ensure the procedure room is prepared for the cardiovascular intervention.
• Monitor par level of instruments and supplies; participate in staff meetings.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

ARRT-R and licensed as required by State

Vascular Interventional Technologist (VI) preferred

BCLS (AHA) required

ACLS within 30 days of hire
