Prime Healthcare in Joliet, IL, seeks an Interventional Radiology Tech (ARRT‑R required) to join the Cath Lab team on a part-time daytime schedule. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, scrub in, and monitor hemodynamics, contributing to high‑quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification and state licensure as required.
• VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.

• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in life-saving cardiac procedures – work with physicians in diagnostic and interventional cases.
• Own the procedure room – scrub in, maintain sterile technique, ensure readiness for cases.
• Monitor real-time hemodynamic data and patient status.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and room readiness to keep operations smooth.
• Support training and collaborate with peers for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Uphold top standards in patient safety, infection control, and compliance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. 1. ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
2. 2. Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
3. 3. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
4. 4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
5. 5. Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.00 to $53.59. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
